| FROM: TVAINFO <tvainfo@tva.gov> (1/24/08) In response to question "What are the individual 2008 performance goals for Tom Kilgore?" At TVA, personal responsibility and accountability is emphasized for each employee in reaching the goals of the annual Winning Performance Scorecard, or "pay for 'performance." Our performance targets reflect the objectives of TVA's Strategic Plan, adopted by the Board in May 2007. The targets also reflect TVA's three-fold, historic mission: energy, environment and economic development. For FY 2008, Mr. Kilgore's performance compensation is tied in large part to the four targets named in the 2008 Winning Performance Scorecard: Customers -- includes TVA's delivered cost of power, customer satisfaction survey and energy-efficiency efforts People -- reflects a top priority for TVA -- a safe workplace for our employees Financial -- includes, among other things, a reduction in TVA's non-fuel O & M expenses Assets/Operations -- includes key environmental metrics and equivalent availability factor for our operating fleet. |
