2002 the then TVA Board approved goal to restart Browns Ferry Nuclear
Unit 1.  TVA estimated it would cost $501 Million as reported by GAO in approving TVA debt reduction plan
in 2004.  "The restart of the Browns Ferry Unit 1 nuclear plant in Alabama, taken off line in 1985, is getting
closer, much closer, as the $1.8 billion renovation nears completion."
