Solar Valley Coalition
The Solar Valley Coalition is a network of sustainable
energy advocates who connects through regular phone
conferences.  We started working together in January 2007
to respond to TVA’s Draft Strategic Plan which had omitted
any mention of the words energy efficiency, energy
conservation, and renewable energy.

The Solar Valley Coalition advocates with the common purpose of
encouraging TVA and the Valley to:
  •        Reduce energy demand through energy efficiency.
  •        Reduce the emission of greenhouse gases.
  •        Set challenging renewable energy goals.
  •        Guarantee citizen involvement in development of goals, planning,  
           evaluation, and accountability.
